MJC Golf provides personalized coaching for golfers with an emphasis on body motion in the swing. Feedback is key throughout the learning process. Coaching is based on knowledge of the golf swing and experience. Mike has been a coach all his life. In business, he learned how to be an exceptional communicator while working at Nike and other major brands and start-ups in the golf industry. Mike first learned how to play golf and fell in love with the game as a caddy at The Country Club, Brookline, MA host of the 2022 U.S. Open and many major PGA and USGA events in years past.
Mike’s philosophy as a Coach is everyone's golf swing is "unique" to them. There is more than one way to do it. We all learn in different ways as well either visually, auditorily or kinesthetically. We put special attention toward improving approach shots - wedge game, short-game, chipping and sand traps AND most importantly, putting.
Mike is a listener, so his approach is to ask questions, understand what you want to accomplish and devise a personalized plan to improve your golf game and fitness. There is no such thing as quick fix or speed to being a better golfer. Mike will review your swing and short-game skills in person or virtually via Facetime to establish a starting point. From there, we’ll set a specific course of action and objectives to obtain your goals.
